3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS
Day 1 Arrival:
Check In in the morning at the Lodge. In Punta Ahuano you will be waiting for a canoe (outboard motor) which will take you to Anaconda Lodge Ecuador (20 minutes approximately). Arrival at the Lodge in the middle of the Amazon where our team awaits you for a warm welcome accompanied by the quintessential Amazonian drink: “la Guayusa” (native plant of the Ecuadorian Amazon, its leaves are used in infusions with stimulating properties thanks to its content of caffeine, theobromine and L-theanine, used to improve symptoms of fatigue and combat stress).
13:30 – Silvia will prepare a healthy and nutritious lunch with fresh products from the Amazon, which will be tasted in the Lodge’s restaurant with a captivating view of the Napo River. In the afternoon you will be delighted with a visit to the so-called “New Forest”. The first guided tour will take place on Anaconda Island itself. Here, our native Kichwa guides will introduce you to the jungle with its flora, its inhabitants, its fruits, its trees and above all the use that the natives make of all this. From medicine to food, moving to the tools to work and live. The walk continues with the arrival in the lagoon of the alligators where you can see Caimanes Anteojos (also called crocodilian caymans). These specimens live on the island in total freedom. They are characteristic of this part of the Amazon where males can measure between 1.8 and 2.5 m long. On the one hand alligators, and on the other birds of unique beauty such as the Hoatzin, the Tropical Auklet, Crested Oropendulas, Purple Redfish, Donacobio, Arasasis, and other species. The walk continues until we reach the last and most interesting part of this first tour: the Kichwa house. The Kichwa are one of the different indigenous ethnic groups that live in the Amazon. Entering a Kichwa house will be like going back in time of one hundred and one hundred years, relating to a lifestyle that we could not even imagine. 19:30 – Dinner at the restaurant on the banks of the Napo River. We prefer to serve healthy and light meals for dinner, with few carbohydrates and to better sleep. The day ends in the lounge, taking advantage of the “Anaconda” bar with wifi area. Here together with the owners, talks are held related to the Amazon, the history of its inhabitants and an advance of the activities of the following day. All this accompanied with exquisite cocktails prepared personally by Francisco.
08:00 – Our team will wait for you with a delicious and nutritious breakfast with natural juices, coffee and always fresh food.
09:00 – Departure with the guide to the excursion in the primary forest. Canoe transportation from the lodge of 0.30 minutes. By primary means a forest that has remained intact, that is, that has never been exploited, fragmented, or influenced by humans. It is in this forest that you can observe different species of monkeys (Gray Shag, Cappuccino, Squirrel, and Spider), birds, insects, amphibians, frogs (such as the famous Ecuadorian poision frog) and snakes (Bothrops, Micrurus and Coral Falsas). . The 3-hour trek through the high jungle allows you to feel the immensity of the Amazon between giant trees that reach 60 meters high. Arrival at the Lodge approximately.
14:30 – Lunch at the restaurant.
18:30 – The appointment is at the Lodge’s restaurant to start one of the most impressive experiences that you can experience in the jungle: The night walk. Everything that can be observed in the day, the animals and the sounds, in the night changes completely. Birds, butterflies and monkeys leave the post to tarantulas, insects, frogs, amphibians and snakes. Unique in its kind, the nocturnal walk allows you to get in touch with the most virgin and uninhabited forest ever.
The day ends with an excellent dinner and a moment of relaxation in the lodge’s lounge.
08:00 – Breakfast at the Lodge’s restaurant.
10:00 – Farewell with all the equipment and boarding in canoes (outboard motor) bound for Punta de Ahuano. 20 minutes of travel.
In accordance to your briefing the night before, you will have an early wake up call, breakfast and departure from the lodge. The lodge staff will assist you with your checked luggage and the motorized canoe ride will head upstream back to Coca, where our representatives will take you to the airport to help you with your checked luggage and boarding passes.

Terms & Conditions
Our payment terms are the following:
Locks, maximum 5 calendar days, provided there is availability, except if the blocking request is for a national holiday in Ecuador.
Reservations: at the time of booking, we request 50% in advance, the balance is paid 10 days before the guests enter the Lodge.
Invoice: once they make 100% payment, Anaconda Lodge Ecuador will send the Invoice through Servientrega to the address indicated.
